Pumpkin patches, concerts, and fright fests – oh my! There are so many great events in the Inland Empire this October 2018 including Cal Jam, Desert Daze, Fall Joshua Tree Music Festival, and so much more. Big Bear Lake Oktoberfest

This year Oktoberfest at Big Bear Lake rages on even longer with extended dates. A true German celebration, you’ll be treated to authentic German entertainment; feast on Brats and Knockwursts direct from the German butcher; and enjoy the very same beers poured at Munich’s Oktoberfest for more than 150 years! This year there will also be an expanded “Kinder Garten” and kid’s fun.


Scare Valley Farms Halloween Haunt

Big Horse Corn Maze & Harvest Festival

All month long in Temecula you can enjoy the Harvest Festival and the iconic 12-acre corn maze. Every weekend enjoy the pumpkin patch, pony rides, hayrides, pillow jump, pig races, corn cannon, face painting, rock wall and so much more. Ralph Love Plein Air Festival

Spend six days painting street scenes, wine country and landmarks. Artists will be provided juice, water and snacks each day. At the end of the week there will be a reception and awards Friday, October 5th from 6-7PM at The Gallery at the Merc. Cash prizes will be given for Best of Show, first, second and third place.


Fall Joshua Tree Music Festival

The great outdoors plus music equals the Fall Joshua Tree Music Festival. A family friendly global music experience, the fall festival is a four-day all weekend event with dozens of bands and artists filling the intimate outdoor space. Foo Fighters are back to close out Cal Jam, and they’re bringing Iggy Pop, Tenacious D, Garbage, Greta Van Fleet and Silversun Pickups along with them for the rock-focused fest. You’ll find other familiar festival staples at Glen Helen Regional Park—carnival rides and games, a vendor village—alongside some more unique touches, like twin waterslides, a mobile recording studio and the Foo Fighters Rock ’n’ Roll Museum.

Boots In The Park – Inland Empire

Boots In The Park is a touring country music festival on and it’s taking place in the Backyard at SilverLakes, right in the heart of the Inland Empire in Norco, CA. Desert Daze

This bizarro camping festival at Moreno Beach in Lake Perris has put together a truly insane lineup, with headliners including My Bloody Valentine, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, and Tame Impala. Purchase a single day ticket or a weekend pass if you plan to camp for this weekend music festival. This out of body experience includes several stages, a mystic bazaar, a healthy does of weird, of course great music.


Temecula Greek Festival

Ghost Walk Riverside

6K Tram Road Challenge

The 33rd Annual Palm Springs Tram Road Challenge is a 6K uphill run/walk presented by the Palm Springs Aerial Tram. For 30+ years, runners and walkers from around the world have been taking on the challenge. Participants climb 2000 vertical feet in just over 3.7 miles. All finishers receive a customized finishers medal, shirt and breakfast. This event benefits the United Way of the Desert.


Annual Palm Desert Golf Cart Parade

When the Palm Desert Golf Cart Parade began in the early 60’s, it was an informal collaboration of residents getting together for some silly fun. The parade has gone through tons of changes (and themes) through the years and now the parade brings 15,000 to 30,000 spectators to El Paseo to experience the fun. The 2018 theme will be Super Heros!


Howl–O–Ween: A Not-So-Spooky Zoo Adventure
