Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights is back with 10 terrifying mazes, a new Jabbawockeez show, the terror tram and scare zones to keep the hairs on the back of your neck raised all night long. The move level production on these terrifying experiences is absolutely chilling.

Street Food Cinema has a month of Halloween and horror themed movies in the park this October. With 12 different locations to provide moviegoers with more chances to catch their favorite flick on the big screen, don’t forget to come early and catch top local bands. Each night will be a different band, movie, and round up of delicious food trucks.

With more sinister spirits taking over the Queen Mary, this will be the scariest year yet. This year’s Dark Harbor centers around a Ringmaster with corrupt control of over 200 heinous monsters throughout 6 terrifying mazes. This year features new paths, secret rooms, haunted bars, and more!

A “local twist on Oktoberfest” in San Gabriel features food and beer booths, vendors, DJs, live band, best dumpling contest and dumpling eating contest! The San Gabriel Dumpling and Beer Fest is the perfect fusion of fall fun and local eats held in the Mission District.
Off The Hook Seafood Festival
A big-time seafood celebration, featuring winners like Del Frisco’s Grille, Herringbone, Red O and so many more. The foodie fundraiser will showcase the city’s best restaurants and chefs with a variety of seafood inspired dishes. Tickets are $50 in advance and $65 the week of.
COAST Open Streets Festival

Long Beach Zombie Fest
Hordes of rotting revelers are rising from their graves preparing to invade the Rainbow Lagoon in Long Beach. It’s a three-day invasion of undead music and horror for all ages. The undead fun includes free zombie make up, haunted interactive maze, a zombie apocalypse scavenger hunt, a Thriller workshop to learn the iconic choreography and so much more!
Eastside Food Festival
The festival supports local sustainability, featuring locally owned and operated businesses including over 30 local vendors including restaurants, celebrity chefs, caterers, locally owned brands, and more. This year’s event includes a VIP happy hour from 3-4PM.
Burbank Beer Festival
Held in Downtown Burbank, the 4th Annual Beer Festival and Fall Street Fair will have two sessions with over 85 craft beers on tap, live music, and entertainment. The street fair is free to the public from 12PM-7:30PM and rain or shine the party will be raging!
Taste Of Soul
This massive (free) South LA soul food and music festival is always an epic celebration. The Taste of Soul Family Festival takes place annually in October and features a taste of all things “soulful” including food from local restaurants, live entertainment, displays from local artists, and exhibits from local businesses and organizations. The party plays out on Crenshaw Blvd between Stocker St and Rodeo Rd.

If you’re looking for a weird a creepy way to get into the Halloween spirit, this is it. This EDM fest has circus performers, scary mazes, and even some crazy pyrotechnics. Each realm of the Psycho Circus offers up a unique musical treat, full of audiovisual trickery to captivate your soul. Stages this year include Slaughterhouse, Ghoul’s Graveyard, The Chopping Block, and Cannibals’ Tea Party.
Dia De Los Muertos Festival
The annual festival of the dead is back again, stuffed full of pan de muerto, performances, music, and thousands of people in the classic sugar skull dia makeup. And where better to celebrate than The Hollywood Forever Cemetery? The festival will include hundreds of Aztec Ritual dancers in full costume, four stages of music and theatrical performances, 100+ altars created by members of the community to their ancestors, costume contest, kids arts area and so much more.
West Hollywood Carnaval
Everyone knows that WeHo can throw a party, and the most bewitching one of the year is West Hollywood Halloween Carnaval. It’s the best place to people watch as attendees eagerly to show-off their killer costumes. The street party of 500,000 is a spectacle not to be missed; expect drag queens, muscle boys, lots of glitter and a freaking good time. The Carnaval is an annual public event that takes place on Santa Monica Boulevard between North Doheny Drive and La Cienega Boulevard.
